Betting sites without OASIS: sports betting without the block check
Rules with provision and primary source, values per casino with source.
Anyone looking for sports betting at a provider without the OASIS check ends up with the same brands as with casinos without OASIS: operators licensed in Curaçao, Anjouan or New Brunswick that are not on the whitelist of Germany's Joint Gambling Authority of the Federal States (GGL). Of the four brands we track, the sources list a betting offer for three: 7Signs, MyStake and Sportaza.
In brief: whether it is permitted, which brands offer sports betting, whether depositing works with PayPal, Paysafecard or small amounts, and what happens to a running bet if you have yourself blocked. The answers rest on the 2021 State Treaty on Gambling (GlüStV), the FAQs of the Regional Council (RP) Darmstadt and the GGL, and on the data from casino.guru, AskGamblers and LCB (as of 5–7 October 2026).

Sports betting and OASIS: who is connected
OASIS is Germany's nationwide player blocking system. Under § 8(1) GlüStV 2021 the state of Hesse runs it for all federal states, with the RP Darmstadt in charge. In its FAQs the RP lists the connected offers with reference to § 2(2)–(10) GlüStV: gaming halls, sports betting, lotteries drawn more than twice a week, casinos, commercial gambling brokers, online horse betting, bookmakers, online casino games, online poker, virtual slot games on the internet and gaming machines in pubs and restaurants.
Under § 8(2) GlüStV the only exceptions are lotteries held at most twice a week, prize-linked savings and on-site horse betting with totalisator associations or at a domestic racecourse. Horse betting on the internet, by contrast, is covered by the block.
According to the GGL, a licensed provider checks the blocking file when a player signs up and each time they access their account. The query uses surname, first name and date of birth; according to the RP the answer is only "The player is blocked" or "The player is not blocked". For sports betting, a panic button must also be visible wherever bets can be placed; it enters a 24-hour block in OASIS without a confirmation prompt (§ 6i(3) GlüStV).
Questions on gutefrage.net show how far a block reaches. One user had closed his bet365 and bwin accounts and was then also refused at a Tipico shop; the answer in the thread was that the providers had entered him in OASIS. Another user pressed the 24-hour instant block at Tipico by mistake. According to the provider's reply it was not passed on to OASIS because his account had not yet been verified.
Whether a betting provider has to be connected depends on its licence. How the GGL whitelist works and which foreign licences exist is set out in the overview of the German casino licence, based on the official list. For comparison, a full-text search of the whitelist on 7 October 2026 found Tipico 26 times and bwin 8 times, and the four brands compared here and their operator names not once.
Providers with sports betting according to the sources
The sources confirm a betting offer for three of the four brands. For 7Signs, casino.guru lists betting, eSports betting and virtual sports among the game types. For MyStake, LCB names sports betting, and casino.guru also lists "Betting" and "eSports betting". For Sportaza, AskGamblers gives "Sports" as a casino type and casino.guru lists "Betting". No source names sports betting for Wild Tokyo; casino.guru only lists virtual sports there. None of the sources lists individual sports or betting markets such as football.
According to casino.guru and AskGamblers, Sportaza and 7Signs belong to the same operator, Rocketship Ventures S.R.L. The licence data conflict for both: according to casino.guru Anjouan Gaming (Comoros) and the Tobique Gaming Commission (New Brunswick), according to AskGamblers only Tobique. casino.guru and AskGamblers give the same withdrawal limit for both brands, €500 per day and €7,000 per month. Licence, limits, processing times and reported cases for Sportaza are collected in one place, with sports betting covered as a separate point.
The figures for Sportaza's limit diverge. One player, however, reported that Sportaza had told him withdrawals were possible "up to €1,000 every 24 hours", with a balance of €3,800. A player report on casino.guru reads "Maximum withdrawal €500".
According to casino.guru MyStake belongs to GTW B.V., according to LCB to Santeda International B.V. As the licence, casino.guru names the Curaçao Gaming Authority (OGL/2024/250/0115), LCB Curaçao and Anjouan. The monthly limit is €15,000 according to casino.guru and LCB; according to LCB, MyStake pays out higher amounts in instalments. No source names a daily limit. If you are checking the brand for its sports betting, the operator, verification and reported account closures at MyStake Casino are summarised separately.
The three brands differ on player protection. According to AskGamblers, 7Signs and Sportaza do not take part in any self-exclusion register; there is no information for MyStake. According to AskGamblers only Sportaza has a self-exclusion tool, 7Signs does not. Both lack a deposit limit tool according to AskGamblers, and for MyStake a player on casino.guru reports that there are no deposit limits. At Sportaza, a player wrote on AskGamblers that his account had been reopened "due to an update" after a permanent self-exclusion; he then lost €1,146.
Depositing for bets: PayPal, Paysafecard, small amounts
None of the three brands with sports betting lists PayPal among its deposit methods. Why that is and which methods the sources name instead is shown in the comparison of PayPal without OASIS, with the lists for all brands.
Paysafecard appears among the deposit methods of MyStake (according to casino.guru) and Sportaza (according to AskGamblers), but not at 7Signs. For withdrawals, AskGamblers lists no Paysafecard at Sportaza; winnings go back via Skrill, Neteller, MiFinity, bank transfer, card or crypto, for example. At MyStake, according to LCB, withdrawals without verification are only possible in cryptocurrencies, other methods only after the casino has checked the account.
No source names a minimum deposit of €5. According to LCB, 7Signs requires €10, or €30 with Bitcoin. MyStake requires €10 according to LCB, €20 for the bonus. For Sportaza, AskGamblers gives €20 as the minimum deposit for the welcome bonus; no source states a general minimum deposit without a bonus.
Are betting sites without OASIS permitted?
Players also ask in forums whether betting sites without OASIS are permitted. On Reddit, one user asked whether new providers without OASIS are "legal from a player's perspective or clearly problematic" and which concrete risks exist, such as account blocks, withdrawal problems or legal consequences.
The GGL answers this via the whitelist. According to the GGL FAQ, every online gambling offer without an entry counts as unlicensed; it stays that way until an application is approved and the provider is added, and the authorities give no information on pending applications. What follows for players, bank payments and winnings is set out in the overview of the legality of casinos without OASIS, with the relevant rules.
On risks, the GGL mainly points to player protection: according to the GGL, providers without a licence lack measures such as deposit limits or self-exclusion. According to the GGL, free counselling is available from the BIÖG on 0800 1 37 27 00.
Open bets when a block is entered
On gutefrage.net a Tipico customer asked what happens to his open long-term bet if he has himself blocked; the possible win was a five-figure sum. His follow-up question: could he still have the winnings paid out? Neither the GlüStV extract nor the RP and GGL FAQs available to us contain a rule specifically for bets already placed.
What the rules do lay down: blocked players may not take part in public gambling (§ 8(2) GlüStV). A self-block normally lasts at least one year; on request a shorter period is possible, but not under three months. A third-party block always lasts at least one year. The block does not end on its own, only on a written application to the RP Darmstadt, and at the earliest once the minimum period has expired. The lifting takes effect no earlier than one week after the application is received for a self-block, and no earlier than one month for a third-party block. Only the 24-hour panic button block ends without an application.
For questions about a specific bet the provider is the point of contact; for the block itself it is the RP Darmstadt, by e-mail to [email protected] or by phone on +49 6151 12 8611 (Wednesdays 9:30–11:30, Thursdays 13:00–15:00). At providers without an OASIS connection, by contrast, a block depends on the provider alone, as the case of the reopened Sportaza account shows.
