Credit cards at casinos without OASIS: withdrawals and fees

Rules with provision and primary source, values per casino with source.

Methodology and sources →

Visa and Mastercard appear explicitly in the withdrawal method list of two of the four brands compared here: 7Signs and Sportaza, according to askgamblers.com. For Wild Tokyo, the English and German versions of that same source contradict each other, and for MyStake there is no complete withdrawal list. How the card fits into the whole process, from processing time and daily limits to verification, is covered in the overview of withdrawals without OASIS.

The basis is the data published by askgamblers.com, casino.guru and lcb.org on 7Signs, Wild Tokyo, MyStake and Sportaza (as of 05.10.2026) and § 16 of the German Money Laundering Act (GwG, gesetze-im-internet.de, as of 07.10.2026).

Withdrawals to Visa and Mastercard: data per brand

7Signs lists 13 withdrawal methods according to askgamblers.com, including Visa and Mastercard, alongside Payz, MuchBetter, Skrill, Neteller, Trustly, bank transfer, MiFinity and Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ripple and Ethereum. The minimum withdrawal is €10 according to lcb.org, or €60 for Bitcoin. The maximum is €500 per day and €7,000 per month (casino.guru and askgamblers.com agree).

Sportaza belongs to the same operator, Rocketship Ventures S.R.L., and lists 17 withdrawal methods according to askgamblers.com: Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, Rapid Transfer, eZeeWallet, bank transfer, MiFinity, Jeton and eight cryptocurrencies. The daily limit is €500 according to casino.guru and askgamblers.com, the monthly limit €7,000. One player report states otherwise: “Auszahlungen sind laut SPORTAZA bis €1,000 alle 24 Stunden möglich” (withdrawals of up to €1,000 every 24 hours). No source gives a minimum withdrawal.

Wild Tokyo is the case with conflicting sources. The English page of askgamblers.com also lists Visa and Mastercard among the withdrawal methods; the German page of the same platform names bank transfer, paysafecard, Skrill, Neteller, crypto and Jeton, but no card. What is consistent: the minimum withdrawal is €10, the daily limit €500, plus €500 per transaction according to askgamblers.com. For the monthly limit, casino.guru gives €8,000 and askgamblers.com €6,000.

MyStake is described by lcb.org as follows: after opening an account only crypto is available, and “in order to gain full access to other payment methods your account must be verified”. After that, withdrawals via MiFinity (from €10) and bank transfer (from €20) are documented. Visa and Mastercard appear in casino.guru’s deposit list, but no source says whether winnings can be paid out to the card. The limits are €7,500 per week and €15,000 per month. No list distinguishes credit from debit cards.

III

Why the card and the account must be in your own name

For providers of online gambling, § 16(7) GwG requires that payouts are made only by a payment transaction to a payment account opened in the player’s name (“auf ein Zahlungskonto, das auf den Namen des Spielers”). The payment reference must make the reason for the payment clear to outsiders. For deposits, § 16(4) GwG requires a direct debit, a bank transfer or a payment card “issued in the name of the player”.

§ 16(4) sentence 2 GwG sets one exception: the provider may waive the card-in-own-name requirement if a single payment does not exceed €25 and all payments in a calendar month do not exceed €100. Very small amounts such as a €1 deposit would fall below that, which is relevant when comparing the minimum deposit; at the brands compared here, however, the sources put the minimum deposit at €10 (7Signs, MyStake) or €20 for the welcome bonus (Sportaza).

The brands check the card during verification. For 7Signs, lcb.org lists a “proof of payment method ownership” in addition to ID and proof of address; the check takes 0–10 days. MyStake requires the same proof, checked within a few hours (lcb.org). At Sportaza, a player report says verification is only possible after the first deposit.

Whether a provider holds a German casino licence can be checked in the whitelist of the Joint Gambling Authority of the German states (GGL). A full-text search there returned no match for 7Signs, Wild Tokyo, MyStake or Sportaza (as of 02.10.2026). The four brands hold licences from Curaçao, Anjouan (Comoros) or New Brunswick (Tobique Gaming Commission).

IV

How long a withdrawal to the card takes

A card withdrawal has two stages: processing at the casino (“pending”) and the transfer to the card. askgamblers.com gives both values separately, so the brands can be compared:

  • 7Signs: processing 0–5 days (askgamblers.com) or within 3 business days (lcb.org), then 3–5 days to the card.
  • Wild Tokyo: processing 24–48 hours according to the English page, 1–5 days according to the German page of askgamblers.com, then 3–7 days to the card.
  • Sportaza: processing 0–5 days, then 1–5 days to the card; no payouts at weekends (“Weekend Cashouts No”).
  • MyStake: no data for cards; only bank transfer is documented, at 3 business days.

In the worst case the ranges add up to ten days at 7Signs and twelve at Wild Tokyo. E-wallets are faster there: 24 hours at 7Signs, 0–24 hours at Wild Tokyo; at Sportaza they take 0–5 days, no faster than the card.

The €500 daily limit stretches large withdrawals further. A win of €2,000 takes at least four days to request in full at 7Signs, Wild Tokyo or Sportaza. One player sums this up for Sportaza: “Maximum withdrawal €500, so if you win more it will take a really long time.” Another reports that Sportaza rejected his withdrawal to Visa after ten days and asked for a deposit with a different method.

V

Fees for card payments at casinos

None of the sources analysed has a fee field for any of the four brands. For 7Signs, Wild Tokyo, MyStake and Sportaza the entry is therefore “no data”, and that does not mean “free”. All four brands list the euro among their account currencies, so no conversion is needed if the player account is kept in euros.

The search results for “kreditkarte casino gebühren” are almost entirely about a different fee: the one charged by your own bank. The top ten include help pages from N26, Tomorrow and Lotto24 explaining gambling fees charged by the bank, plus reports by Stiftung Warentest and Handelsblatt. Whether and how much the bank charges for gambling transactions is stated in the price list of the card concerned.

At providers with a German licence, every card deposit counts towards the cross-provider LUGAS limit of €1,000 per calendar month. According to the GGL, failed deposits are recorded as well, for example after a dropped connection or with a blocked payment method, and cannot be corrected. The counter resets on the first day of the month.

At casinos without OASIS this limit file does not exist. According to askgamblers.com, 7Signs, Wild Tokyo and Sportaza also have no deposit limit tool of their own, and at MyStake a player on casino.guru reports that there were no deposit limits. The GGL describes this in general terms: providers without a German licence lack measures such as deposit limits or self-exclusion. At providers with a German licence, by contrast, the OASIS block duration follows § 8a GlüStV: a third-party block lasts at least one year, a self-exclusion as a rule also at least one year, or at least three months on request.

VI

Reversing a card payment: what players report

None of the four brands publishes a chargeback policy in these sources; player reports show the difficulties. A player with an active official OASIS block describes depositing around €1,700 with a Klarna card at two providers without a German licence and wanting to reverse the payments. The same report says the amounts were “deliberately debited under false names” on the Klarna statement, that is, not under the casino’s name.

A different merchant name makes it harder to recognise a transaction as a gambling payment at all. Whether a chargeback succeeds depends on the individual case: it runs through the card issuer and under its terms.
